New build bus station in Accington town centre

Funded by Lancashire County Council, our sub-contract included earthworks and site clearance before the construction of a new bus station facility.

Built within a busy town centre, care and consideration to neighbouring businesses and the public was a key factor in minimising disruption.

Reinforced concrete groundbeams, pile caps, and retaining structures were a core activity on the project, completed with slab works and external hard paving for access routes.

Installation of a large surface water interceptor prevents contaminated surface runoff from entering the local drainage network.
