Reinforced concrete slab and canopy extension to existing distribution depot.

This project was to facilitate an extension to the existing storage and distribution facility. It initially involved the bulk excavation and disposal of 3000m3 of material, to enable construction of a 5000m2 reinforced concrete slab.

Built within a live working environment, over 1000m3 of RC40 concrete was used on the project and almost 2000m of construction joints created.

Surface water attenuation and three bypass separators were also installed in a drainage works to a value of £100k.

Reinforced concrete groundbeams were also provided to allow a canopy extension to the existing facility to be constructed.
